Is Our Program Right For You?

We do our best to accept participants of all abilities, however in some cases, we are unable to accommodate for safety reasons. 

NEW RIDERS:

Step 1. Please fill out and submit the PARTICIPANT APPLICATION FORM form to begin the process.  4:13 Staff will review your application to determine rider eligibility and next steps.   

Step 2: In-Person Evaluation.  Our Registration Coordinator will set up an in-person evaluation prior to, or in conjunction with, completion of the physicians referral form.

Step 3:  Complete the PHYSICIAN REFERRAL FORM, this will require an appointment with the rider's physician

Step 4 for new riders AND RETURNING RIDERS: 2023 Fall Lesson Registration

The Physician's Referral Form MUST be completed prior to session registration.  If you have any questions about the registration form, please contact us.

Program Registration

Fall 2023 Lessons start the week of September 17

Sunday Lesson Times: 10am, 11:30am, 1:00pm, 2:30pm*

Wednesday Lesson Times:  2:00pm, 3:30pm, 5:00pm

Friday Lesson Times: 11:00am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm*

New riders must complete the physician's referral form included prior to your session registration being accepted.  Please review the forms and contraindications information.  

New rider applications and physician referral forms can be completed and submitted to us any time, physician referral forms can take a few weeks to get completed.

Cost:  $360.00 for Fall Session 1.  Six weeks (Sept 17- November 3)

Cost: $240.00 for Fall Session 2.  Four weeks (November 12 - December 8)

Thanks to a grant from the Alberta Equestrian Federation we are excited to be able to offer a $100.00 discount to our first 25 participants!

NOTE:  1 discount per rider

We are unable to accept participants who do not have permission from a doctor, experience seizures or are over 170lbs (Updated Fall 2022)

It is also mandatory that all participants wear closed toe shoes, as well as, horse riding helmets. These may be purchased at various horse equipment stores in Calgary. 4:13 participants can receive discounts from our sponsor, "The Horse Store." www.horsestore.com

​**Lesson spaces will not be confirmed on a definite basis until complete registration and payment received.  Capacity is limited to four students per class.

Please note: we are unable offer make-up lessons for sessions missed due to illness, vacation or other commitments, as well as lessons cancelled due to weather. We reserve the right to cancel a scheduled session due to low enrollment, in which case registration fees will be returned.
