Volunteer
Four:Thirteen Therapeutic Riding Therapy is an established registered charity organization. We rely on our dedicated and passionate volunteers to maintain our organization, and we are always looking for more team members. If you’re passionate about working with animals, and making a difference in children’s lives, we would love to have you as a part of the 4:13 team.
Benefits of Volunteering
4:13 volunteers make a difference by making riding opportunities available to people of all abilities. The benefits of the volunteer opportunities with 4:13 include:

Connecting you with others. Helps you make new friends and contacts with people who share common interests.

Strengthening existing relationships by being involved in a shared activity together.

Being involved in meaningful, value added activities. Volunteers with 4:13 function as a team to support riders of all abilities, may participate in fund raising, and/or be involved with the board.

Learning new skills. 4:13 volunteers are offered training opportunities from certified trainers on:

How to be a lead and a side walker to support riders of all abilities.

Horsemanship.

Other skills can be developed by participating with fund raising or with the board.

Providing opportunity to practice important transferable skills, such increasing 4:13's social media footprint, fund raising, teamwork, communication, planning and organizing. There is plenty of opportunity to be creative and share your ideas.

Using your skills to benefit the greater community.

Volunteering with 4:13 helps you stay physically healthy and kindles happiness. Most of all, it is fun!

Due to the nature of working with vulnerable peoples in our program, all volunteers will be required to complete a vulnerable sector check.
